Ekka 2026 Trading Hours and Access

Ekka 2026 is on from Sat 8 – Sun 16 August.
Tues 4 – Wed 5 Aug – 3pm-late (dinner menu available from 3pm).
Thurs 6 – Fri 7 Aug – 12pm–late (kitchen open 12-3pm / 4:30-7:30pm).
Sat 8 – Sun 16 Aug – 9am–9pm (kitchen open from 11am – 7:30pm).
*Access to Ekka ticket holders only.*Bar Gusto closed from 4pm on Fri 14 Aug due to a private event.
Mon 17 Aug – 3pm-late (dinner menu available from 3pm).
Tues 18 – Wed 19 Aug – CLOSED.
From Thurs 20 August – Back to regular trading hours. 
  • There are road closures in the surrounding area from 29 July. Please consider public transport as an option during this busy period.
  • Bar Gusto can be accessed via the Rydges Fortitude Valley main hotel entrance by the public up until and including 7 August.
  • Due to where the Ekka entry/exit gates are situated, from Sat 8 – Sun 16 Aug only Ekka ticket holders can access Bar Gusto.
  • During Ekka, Bar Gusto can be accessed from within Ekka via the Bar Gusto deck, or from the entrance from the hotel on Podium (P) Floor.
